We are primarily looking to fill a 3rd shift: 5pm-3:30am Wednesday-Saturday (4 x 10 hour shifts) * Perform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage plan * Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages * Routing materials to prescribed storage locations * Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods * Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials * Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage * Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. * May operate hand or power trucks while performing warehousing duties. Basic Requirements: * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC) * Must be 18 years or older * Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time * Must be able to lift up 30 lbs unassisted * Must be comfortable learning to operate a forklift * Must be comfortable learning to operate a stock selector (raises 20-30 ft high to get inventory from shelving- with safety weight limit of under 300 lbs including harness) * Must be able to work in environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold. * Have the ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types to Include stand-up and sit-down forklifts. * At least one-year experience with Supply Management operation systems. * Prior knowledge and experience with Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Procedures Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with DSS and other Government Data Systems * Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types Including stand-up and sit-down forklifts * Experience with resolving common error conditions * Experience responding to computer output instructions or error conditions * Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
