Position Expectations Productivity/Quality: As directed by Distribution Manager, plan and schedule all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met. Understand customer contract requirements. Ensure SOP and customer work instructions are followed. Direct and oversee job assignments and plan daily labor schedules. Motivate and lead the team to achieve stated objectives. Develop and maintain a productive work team by assisting the Distribution Manager in training and cross training of employees. Assist Distribution Manager to ensure current and accurate inventory control for each account. Safety & Security: Follow food/safety SOPs and AIB standards. Report equipment and facility building/grounds damage and repairs. Drive a culture of safety throughout the company to achieve safety goals and objectives. Follow safety and security policies and SOPs Image, Appearance and Sanitation Ensure all departments' equipment and overall appearance is maintained as defined by the company. Report deviations to Distribution Manager. Ensure storage of product is in a neat and orderly fashion according to customer requirements. Direct disposal or repack of non-conforming products per the customer's work instructions. Assist with monthly facility audits. Customer Service: Interface directly with the customer and maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all customers. Ensure customer requests are responded to immediately. Provides follow-up to customers to ensure that problem is resolved or being worked on. General: Communicate company information via pre-shift meetings as directed by Distribution Manager. Continuously evaluate ways to improve the accuracy and efficiencies of department. (identifying at least 1 significant improvement annually) Salary Description $21.00 + $1.50 Shift Diff/Hourly

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift/Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and skid steers to move, load, and unload materials, maintain worksite cleanliness, and support overall construction and warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and adherence to all company and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate forklifts and skid steers to move, load, and unload materials. * Transport materials around the job site or warehouse in an efficient and organized manner. * Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs. * Assist with loading/unloading trucks, staging materials, and organizing inventory. * Maintain clean and safe work areas, free of hazards and obstructions. * Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety protocols. * Support general labor tasks as needed when equipment operation is not required. * Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other trades on-site. * Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships. Compensation Range - $25/hr - $35/hr Physical Demands The physical demands described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role on a construction site. This role requires significant physical exertion, including the ability to navigate active construction areas with uneven terrain, temporary and permanent stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and personnel hoists. Constant standing, walking, and performing repetitive physical tasks are required daily. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing over 50 pounds with assistance or team lifting techniques. This position requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching (above and below shoulder level). The employee must possess sufficient physical dexterity and balance to work safely at various heights and in confined spaces. Visual acuity (including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus) is essential for tasks such as reading instructions, operating equipment, and ensuring safety. Adequate hearing (with or without assistive devices) is required to understand instructions and warnings in a noisy environment. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an employee encounter while performing the essential functions of this role at a Clark Construction site. The employee will regularly work outdoors and may be exposed to varying and potentially extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow. The work environment frequently involves exposure to moving mechanical equipment, high noise levels, dust, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and potential electrical hazards. Work regularly occurs at heights and in confined spaces. The employee must be able to work safely around heavy equipment and construction traffic. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud, requiring the consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, and adherence to all Clark Construction's comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Due to the nature of the projects, deadlines, and client's requirements, the role frequently requires working more than 40 hours per week.
