The Material Handler Operator is responsible for receiving and shipping and handling wood material, sorting, stacking and de-stacking batches for drying/chemical processes. Material Handler Operators will have to consistently work with Chemical Operators, Logistical Operators, Safety, and Quality to safely and efficiently maintain production scheduling. Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring Burnishing Machine Operator | Forklift Operator positions.Job Duties: Operate or tend machines that heat treat/stress relief materials by radiant or induction heat and/or burnish to remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, buff, hone or polish Position raw materials into machines using automated lifting/dumping systems Remove parts from machines after specified times and air dry or cool parts Record times that parts are removed from machines and document that objects have attained specified times and temperatures Move raw and finished materials by forklift Use ERP system to release and enter product to and from inventory Maintain clean and tidy work environment Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Basic math skills Good communication skills with ability to read and interpret work instructions Previous related manufacturing experience Experience operating forklifts, machines and related equipment Ability to stand for duration of shift Ability to work in a hot environment Hand dexterity Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. What You'll Get to Do The Shipping operator (days) is focused on Shipping on time and a full order and reports to the Shipping Manager.
