Solu is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support a utility client's construction and maintenance operations. The role involves coordinating material ordering, inventory management, and delivery logistics to keep projects on schedule. The Materials Coordinator will work with warehouse teams, contractors, and internal departments to track materials, manage costs, and resolve discrepancies, using enterprise work management and inventory systems to support budget and operational goals. Responsibilities: Coordinating ordering, scheduling, delivery, and material management for construction / maintenance projects. Identify shortages and special material requirements to eliminate project delays. Prepare required documentation to track cost, discrepancies, and special needs. Perform support to verify, analyze and reconcile materials and major equipment to account for quantities, cost, and equipment identification. Contractor will be moving material in and out of stock, making material returns, and coordinating with warehouse personnel on material request demands. Complete journal vouchers assuring that charges are correctly distributed. 9. Effectively interface with various departments/contractors to ensure conflicts are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner. Job Summary The Order Puller Associate will stock incoming merchandise and fill orders for customers. At AFW, we are proud that customers can pick up their furniture and take it home the same day. You will be a critical part of fulfilling that promise to the customer. The Order Puller will safely operate a Stock Picker, Reach Truck, Sit Down Forklift, and any other equipment necessary to transport merchandise for customers and other departments. We provide full training and certifications for all equipment. Job Requirements Previous experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker helpful but not required. Commitment to safety Knowledge of the correct lifting/team lifting techniques. Capability to perform the correct lifting/team lifting techniques. You have to work at heights! You will fill orders 0 to 35 feet above the ground. Ability to work in multiple departments. It's a great opportunity to cross-train and learn new skills. Ability to have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends. We are a retail operation so that means we need you during our operation hours which are Sunday - Saturday, 10 am - 10 pm. Some warehouse shifts are overnight and come with an additional pay premium Technical skills: Be an ambassador for safety in the workplace. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions accurately. Operate material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse. Operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner. Correctly use a hand truck. Capacity to effectively work independently of direct supervision. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner. Physical Requirements: Capacity to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas. Capability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily. Continuous use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back. Ability to lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 100 lbs. and the skill to handle/manipulate merchandise up to 250 lbs. frequently. Lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, stooping, and moving merchandise 8 hours or more daily.
