This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for individuals with a strong background in warehouse operations, logistics, quality control, and team supervision.
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Night Shift - 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse personnel and assigned work cells
Oversee the inspection and quality assurance process for customer products
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with OSHA safety standards

The employee may be asked to assist with receiving incoming shipments, stocking, and organizing incoming items as needed.
Responsibilities
Assemble customer orders from stock by placing orders on pallets or in bins
Verify items on order for accuracy
Pack all items using proper procedures to prevent damages
Include packing slip with each order
Process orders through online shipping service or other approved carriers
Assists in regular and special inventories, audits, and counts
Adhere to company policies and procedures as detailed in the Employee Handbook
Demonstrate an understanding of Surplus City's quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives
Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean working environment
Make recommendations and provide feedback to improve operational excellence and efficiency
Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner
Follows all safety procedures by SOP local instruction and by supervision
Any additional responsibilities as assigned by Leadership Team
Requirements & Qualifications
1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift experience a plus, but we can train
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
Basic computer skills preferred
Basic problem-solving skills
Excellent attendance record required
Lift up to 100 lbs regularly
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
Ability to pass a standard drug test and background check
Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
Operate powered industrial lift trucks to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials
Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
Tolerate hot and/or cold environments
This job requires the ability to:
Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 100 lbs regularly.
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
