Maintain accurate UPS/FedEx shipping records daily. Secure building at close daily. Count all parts that are delivered from UPS/FedEx and verify, count, and sign for them daily. When checking in GM parts delivery in the morning, the following procedure is to be done dai1y. Verify that the part number on the parts tag matches the part number on the box. Verify the quantity of parts received matches the quantity of parts on the packing slip. Assist parts drivers in loading and unloading parts to and from the parts trucks for deliveries daily. Responsible for all loading and unloading of items requiring the use of the fork truck. Stocks and posts incoming orders. Notifies appropriate parties when special order parts arrive. Returns parts as needed and removes from inventory after credit is received. Returns cores in a timely manner and follows up for receipt of credit. Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory. Assists in annual parts returns. Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered. Maintains professional appearance.
