    Job Title: Material Handler Reports to: Sheet Metal Lead/Production Manager This position will be responsible for the majority of supportive functions at the RibCo Facility within Malone's. This role is responsible for all RibCo inventory and will conduct monthly cycle counts of raw materials. This position requires daily heavy lifting and regular forklift driving. Additionally, the position is responsible for staging all jobs for production employees and supplying Mylars that are checked in and out weekly, along with delivering parts and tooling between facilities. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask is crucial. Must be able to travel between two facilities located less than 1/2 mile from each other on a regular basis. Job Responsibilities: Cycle counting of raw materials. Includes movement of parts, pieces and materials to ensure an accurate count. Unloading trucks and receiving material into ERP system. Unloading pallets and other packing containers and placing product in appropriate locations. Picking of raw materials and maintaining accurate inventory in the ERP system Checking blueprints in and out daily or as needed. Staging parts and tooling based off the schedule for production employees. Packing and delivering completed jobs to QC for final inspection. Checking tooling and staging racks at the main building and delivering to RibCo. Operate Shear to cut production materials while observing machine function to identify potential malfunctions Manually debur parts as needed to ensure a smooth fit Follow/read production traveler Sign off all paperwork documentation Check parts with required gages per traveler Immediately report any part out of dimensional tolerance or machine not performing as told or expected Follow all production procedures for non-conforming product Follow all safety procedures and documentation Education, Skills & Experience: High School Diploma/GED Experience in material handling a plus, but not required Accurate counting Basic Microsoft Office experience / basic computer knowledge, willingness to learn our inventory software Ability to drive a forklift (previous experience is a plus) Self-motivated, responsible, and able to perform with little supervision Excellent previous attendance records Ability to locate and read information to understand/read blueprints/drawings Basic math skills Use of various inspection gauges Mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance/over 50 pounds requires assistance Capability to work within a team environment Prior machine/operating experience is a plus Physical demands Require use of hands & arms with repetitive motion & reach.
