We are seeking qualified candidates for a Material Handler position. The hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
The Material Handler drives and inspects liquefied gas or electric powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices (forklift forks) to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products, equipment, or materials for receiving, factory service, and scrap operations.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Checks assigned forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional; maneuvers forklift as designed.
Recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank as needed.
Obtains proper documents from supervisor indicating work to be completed.
Positions forks over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or material and transports load to designated area.
As needed, stretch wraps pallets possibly with corners, attaches inventory tickets to pallets or labels pallet with SKU number, and places pallets into proper location in the warehouse.
Empties all full scrap containers in assigned areas and disposes of materials using cardboard compactor, open top, and trash compactor.
Stacks or restacks product pallets.
Moves all damaged pallets to pallet trailer. Maintains counts and documentation.
Stages scrap material. Loads scrap trailers and trucks as needed.
Stages scrap appliance load and maintains log.
Keeps work area clean and orderly.
Performs other miscellaneous related duties as required.
Requirements of the Position Include:
High School Diploma or equivalent with one to three months related experience and/or training.
Forklift certification
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Previous manufacturing experience desirable.
Must continuously stand, use fingers to handle, finger, or feel. Must regularly reach with hands and arms and occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

1st Shift Part Time Warehouse Material Handler
The 1st Shift Part Time Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the fulfillment of Customer Orders by retrieving and stacking specific product and quantities as specified on the Pick Ticket/Computer Screen assigned on a pre-determined conveyor and, or pallet. This is accomplished by traveling throughout the Warehouse's Pick Area and building stable pallet(s) of product, meeting or exceeding Warehouse and Company expectations regarding safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Retrieves and places quantities of Cases of Product onto a pre-determined pallet as instructed by the assigned Pick Ticket, in a manner that is safe and builds a stable pallet of product, while meeting or exceeding Warehouse and Company expectations in safety, accuracy, and efficiency
* Travels to and transports pallets of stacked Product to different areas of the Warehouse via a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) - Pallet Jack - in a safe and efficient manner
* Assists in Warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned or as needed
* Performs daily PIT Checklist and alerts Warehouse Management of any issues discovered
* Corrects any mistakes discovered and informed of by the Checker to product and, or quantity

Coordinates the processing, loading of personnel and cargo based on deployment plans, and aircraft schedules. Performs passenger service dispatch duties, maintains aircraft status boards, receives air mission set-ups, and relays information on passenger processing and movements to the ADACG Operations/Shift leader. Coordinates and controls the processing and movement of passengers through air terminal and other designated areas. Assist deploying unit with air passenger manifesting and ensures the air manifest is legible with all required data. Briefs troop commander IAW anti-hijacking procedures, and ensures all hand carried items are within established weight and size restrictions. Provides passengers with flight information/delays. Primary purpose of the work is to provide air transportation cargo/personnel support services within a secure military deployment area.
Reports to the designated aircraft-loading zone, which may be classified as a secure area. Conducts visual review/inspection of military service members to ascertain compliance with regulations/guides governing the transport of carry-on items aboard an aircraft. Gives special attention to special items such as medical supplies or items classified as hazardous material to verify proper container use, labels, shipping records etc. Reports violations to authorities as prescribed by applicable laws, regulations or guides. May operate a variety of materials handling equipment such as forklifts, to load or relocate cargo. Responsible for physical security of passengers in the loading zone along with the inspection of items to be loaded onto the aircraft. Visually inspects items for proper packaging, marking, labeling and placarding. Reviews shipping paper accompanying cargo/baggage for accurate descriptions and complete record of items to be transported. Ensures the deploying unit adheres to the established movement timetable. Performs other duties as required. Extensive interaction with the customer is required. Work requires long strenuous hours, and being able to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends and holidays. + Knowledge of the applicable GCSS-Army and regulatory supply systems.
+ Knowledge of warehouse operations and the use of Protected Personal Equipment and OSHA standards
