RESPONSIBILITIES * Material Storage & Verification: Receive, count, and verify materials from SMD Stores, Main Stores, and the Copper Department. Ensure materials are stored in designated locations as instructed by the Lead Operator. * Documentation & Communication: Record all received materials and maintain proper documentation. File material sign-off records in the appropriate filing cabinets for future reference. Report any shortages or discrepancies to the Lead Operator and the issuing department. * Inventory Management: Regularly check material racks and bins throughout the day to ensure sufficient hardware is available for production needs. * Extrusion Monitoring: Perform daily checks on copper extrusion stock to avoid production downtime. * Reordering & Requests: Use internal systems like the Dashboard to proactively order consumables. Submit requests via the SMD database for additional parts when directed by the Lead Operator. * Preservation & Handling: Ensure proper material handling to avoid damage and preserve quality during movement and storage.
