**HEU Material Handler**
**Position Overview:**
Perform various operations in the decommissioning of facilities and transportation of SNM bearing materials using necessary equipment to perform the task.
**Location:**
Onsite in Erwin, TN.
**Your Day to Day as a HEU Material Handler:**
+ Excavate contaminated soil and waste debris
+ Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, dump trucks, etc.
+ Perform building, process, and equipment decommissioning.
+ Unload/package contents of intermodals, drums, boxes, etc.
+ Downsize debris using required hand tools, saws, and other equipment as required.
+ Line intermodals and stage for loading.
+ Package materials into intermodals.
+ Spot intermodals, sealand containers, and box trailers as directed by supervision.
+ Label, placard, and prepare intermodal and sealand containers/trailers for offsite shipment.
+ Load and offload intermodals on train cars.
+ Stage shipping containers.
+ Perform sampling and package samples for NFS labs and shipping departments
+ Checkweigh incoming and outgoing materials.
+ Apply tamper indicating seals
+ Perform required computer transactions.
+ Package materials into approved product shipping containers and into approved waste material shipping containers.
+ Off load incoming material from transport vehicles and unload incoming materials from transport vehicles.
+ Understand and comply with operating and safety policies and procedures.
+ Maintain job qualifications.
+ Perform other job duties as directed by supervision
**Required Qualifications:**
Education: High School diploma plus two (2) semesters of college Chemistry and/or Physics.
Experience: One (1) year or less related work experience required.

The Operations Associate is responsible for material handling, warehousing, quality checks and assisting Operations Technicians with the preparation and execution of startup, changeovers, operations, and line clearance. Confirm in-house availability of raw and packing materials for current and next runs understanding schedule and demand plans
Coordinate with upstream and downstream processes by working with others in planning, warehouse, receiving and vendor representatives to ensure availability of materials
Prepares and loads finished product for shipping using SAP and working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Complete all appropriate SAP, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Forklift Terminals/RF transactions for receiving, transferring and shipping of materials and finished product
Performs cycle counts and inventories
Completes daily check sheet for forklift safety and maintenance
Changes out forklift batteries daily for recharging using overhead crane
Performs safety check of pallet stacking at end of shift and reports and resolves any issues
Assists with startup, line clearance, and operations of automated and manual equipment throughout the production facility
Complete daily housekeeping activities and perform assessments as required to meet all GMP's and FDA requirements
Removes and disposes of production line waste according to Standard Operating Procedures
Assist with loading scrap trailers for disposal or recycle

Job Overview
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the fulfillment of Customer Orders by retrieving and stacking specific product and quantities as specified on the Pick Ticket/Computer Screen assigned on a pre-determined conveyor and, or pallet. What You'll Be Doing:
Strap pallets: 2 way or 4 way depending on the costumer location, using the right dunnage. Using strapping gun and ergo machine.
Quality inspection- Be able to check specs on sample provided using measuring tape.
Make sure that all documentation from the floor is completed and in the plastic envelope.
Move strips and finished goods to help with the flow of production.
Use the wrapping machine and replace wrapping roll.
Strap pallets using conventional way, hand wrapping if needed.
Use the buddy check system to assist when loading trucks.
Inspect incoming board/rolls and make sure flute/caliper and sizes match purchase order.
Help with miscellaneous assignments and general labor.
Perform tasks as assigned by supervision.

Maintain accurate daily inventory balances.

Prioritize and select inventory to fill orders and stage product of unloading/loading.

Maintain the warehouse including, but not limited to, ensuring pathways and exits are clear of obstructions.

SPECIFICS ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT: ·
Accurately records data on and inspects DHR for accuracy and completeness.·
Reports daily production and scrap.·
Cleans equipment and workstation at the end of each shift and as needed.

Drives and certifies on Forklift, clamp truck, walkie rider, as well as other PITs, to move raw materials and finished goods.
Reads and understands Bills of Materials and Bills of Lading. Compete BOLs for completed loads.
Operate scan gun and JD Edwards's system to locate and scan product into various product locations and to print bills of lading.
Identify external customers by directing customers to appropriate doors, completing required paperwork
Troubleshooting shipping issues
Scan confirmed loads into Docushare
Communicate when live loads arrive
