This position reports to the Workforce Supervisor. They will assist associates with FUNtime, UKG/Kronos, and App questions. This position will also be trained to back up the Full-Time park schedulers ensuring all departments and associates have a knowledgeable resource available.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for scheduling duties within the FUNtime scheduling system, which includes managing and maintain long term schedules for various departments.
Revise park schedules when required due to staffing changes, labor shortages, or other interruptions.
Compile information, such as open shift reports, staffing details, or associate data.
Attend meetings with management to address any staffing needs and challenges
Deliver a high level of guest service for both internal and external guest in person and over the phone.
Ensure office area is neat and organized at all times.
Additional duties as outlined by the Manager.
Qualifications:
Strong Excel skills, including formulas and tables (Pivot Tables a plus).
Provides guest service according to Carowinds standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Carowinds Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

The Winder will play a crucial role in the production of windings for our large power transformers. The primary tasks on a typical workday include winding disc or helical coils for large power transformers based on technical designs and drawings; documentation and quality checks of the process progress; planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plans and manufacturing standards. This position is designed for someone with a growth mindset and a commitment to safety and quality compliance. You will receive specialized training in Large Power Transformer Manufacturing as well as cross-train in new processes as you progress in your job role. You will gain unique and valuable skills that will set you apart in the world of Large Power Transformers.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Winding different types of coils, including helical windings or disc windings for large power transformers
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work plans as well as preparing necessary materials to carry out the winding process
* Operating horizontal or vertical winding machines, overhead cranes, forklifts, and performing welding, soldering when necessary
* Performing measurements and quality inspections for windings including reviewing the tolerances in accordance with technical requirements
* Submitting documentation and quality checks of the process done
* Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.].
What You Bring
* High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience.
* Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements.
* Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community college.
* Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift License and a Critical Lift level crane license and certification for working in heights.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

* Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.
* Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.
* Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
* Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for the on-the-job training for a period of 6 months based on the proficiency in the area of training. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.
