Summary:
Responsible for the specification, design and development of cryogenic liquid & process gas transfer systems. Provide welding, brazing, and fabricating process expertise for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Reinforce corporate commitment to safety and environmental awareness;
Interpret customer requirements into detailed specifications sufficient to develop products including cryogenic liquid transfer systems;
Produce detailed design of systems and/or components, including design for manufacturability;
Develop analytical models of system design and produce testing protocols sufficient to validate model;
Identify problem root causes, develop & implement solutions related to products and processes;
Evaluate and recommend components for conformance to design specifications;

Required Qualifications and Skills:
4-year degree in MechanicalEngineering
At least 5 years relevant experience in the design of piping systems
Experience with system designs in compliance with ASME B31.3 & B31.12
Familiarity with process & instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Project Design:
Designs site layout, access, grading, erosion control, stormwater management, utilities, etc.
Design, analyze, and develop construction plans, specifications, stormwater reports, including calculations and cost estimates in accordance with "Philadelphia Water Department Standards."
Coordinates project design requirements with staff, other departments and subconsultants.
Reviews work of self and others for conformance with project work plan and company design standards.
Interacts with municipal, county and state officials including Philadelphia Streets, Water, Planning, as well as municipal boards, PADEP, PennDOT, County Conservation Districts, etc.
Project Administration:
Maintains project records including email, correspondence, submissions, permits, plans, client and agency directives, basis of design information, construction phase records, etc.
Reviews budget status with project manager.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related area
EIT plus 4-5 years of experience is required. PE would be a plus.
4+ years of Land Development or equivalent experience
Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania
