Generate clear and concise standard work instructions

BSME or similar educational background
Experience/Interest in conventional & non-conventional machining, chemical processing, non-destructive testing, and heat treatment preferred
Must be an independent learner, able to perform value added research & investigation
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Working knowledge of quality systems and control plans
High level of analytical ability
Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting aptitude
Capable of becoming a strong individual contributor
Proficiency with CAD systems, Siemens NX preferred
Other Qualification:
Due to ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. Person
Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals and government regulations.
Possess a strong geometric/trigonometric mathematical understanding.
Computer Skills:
Must be able to use the computer and computer software as required by job. Must be proficient in MS Office applications. Basic understanding of code (VBA, C#, C++, etc.) is preferred.

This position is in a standard manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical equipment. The noise levels are frequently moderate to loud. Safety glasses and safety shoes (steel toed) are required throughout the shop floor. Hearing protection is recommended in certain areas.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
