Job Title: Mechanical DesignerJob Description This position involves completing project designs and detailed drawings, as well as Bills of Materials (BOMs) within customer guidelines. Designers must interpret complex engineering specifications and apply these to the design of components and sub-assemblies using sound design principles, creative and independent judgment. The role requires working in a team environment under the direction of the Design Manager and Lead Designer. Responsibilities * Generate detailed drawings as directed by the Design Manager and/or Lead Designers using Solidworks. * Accurately and efficiently produce shop drawings. * Participate in job status meetings. * Communicate professionally with team members and managers to gather necessary information for accurate drawings. * Manage time effectively and report progress to the Design Manager and Lead Designer. Essential Skills * Proficiency in Solidworks. * Familiarity with AutoCAD, other Autodesk products, and PDM Software. * Ability to interpret complex engineering specifications. * Strong mechanical design skills.
