Program Overview The KIELY Internship Program is seeking college students like you that would like to join us on our mission to leave things better than we found them. The program runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day with consideration on semester starting/ending dates. The program is intended to help college students: * Develop work skills and knowledge * Succeed in the construction and engineering industry * Be a link between a student's educational goals and career objectives * Lead to full time employment with the Kiely Family of Companies. With the guidance of a mentor, you will be challenged with work assignments in your area, producing weekly progress reports and be given a chance to present to our Leadership Team at the conclusion of your internship. Competitive pay offered $17- $19 per hour based upon prior experience. Position Location * Project Engineer Intern- Hammonton, NJ (on-site internship) Assignments will vary based upon business need, geographic location, and student skill set. Job Description Scope of Job PowerFlex, an EDF Renewables company, is a leading national provider of intelligent onsite energy solutions that support carbon-free electrification and transportation. The Company delivers integrated solar, storage, EV charging, and microgrid systems, to businesses and organizations. As a single full-service provider, PowerFlex customizes clean technology solutions to help clients achieve their energy and sustainability goals. The Project Engineer Intern will be responsible for assisting the implementation of solar, storage, and EVSE infrastructure projects. They will be responsible for supporting project data management, engineering design sets, client/utility/contractor coordination, purchase orders, and project tracking. This individual will help the Project Engineer to coordinate all aspects of the project to ensure they are completed as quickly and as safely possible. The ideal candidate will be very detailed, organized, and able to manage time and priorities. Location and Schedule This hybrid role is based out of our New York City, NY office. The selected candidate will be expected to work in person 3 days per week. Applicants must be local to New York City or willing to relocate, though relocation expenses will not be covered by the company. This is a full-time summer internship lasting 12 weeks, from Monday, June 8th, to Friday, August 28th. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
