Overall Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Mechanical Designer, to join our engineering team. Responsibilities
Prepare and/or modify mechanical layouts, CAD models, assembly drawings, and detailed part drawings using CAD tools such as SolidWorks both in 2D and 3D environments
Develop and maintain detailed mechanical drawings for components, assemblies and systems, ensuring compliance with all standards and specifications.
Conduct preliminary GD&T stackups and analysis for components and assemblies to ensure proper assembly & manufacturing
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure optimal design for manufacturability and assembly
Collaborate cross-functional teams to generate and manage project-specific BOMs (Bill of Materials) in support of a robust NPI process
