As a Field Engineer Intern at Moltz, you will: * Perform a variety of duties including but not limited to administrative duties, update schedules and budgets, maintain cost control, and monitor labor material and equipment activities on the project * Work with Project Managers/on-site Superintendent to update project schedule and budget to identify potential construction issues * Attend all project team meetings, and document team meetings, action items, and other pertinent project deliverables/decisions * Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes and optional changes in project scope, and present to the Project Manager when required * Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders * Support Project Manager and Superintendent with creating templates and supporting documents on behalf of project team regarding roles and responsibilities * Record change orders and update site drawings * Monitor payroll functions, cost accruals and reviews on a regular basis * Maintain QA/QC and Safety records * Review the Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings Qualifications & Experience: * In progress Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field experience is required. * 2-3 years construction experience is a plus * Strong presentation skills. * Proficient with MS Office Suite. * Proficient using scheduling and project management software Compensation and Benefits: * Hourly rate: $35-$45/ hour * On the job training and rapid career advancement for those with the drive and skill set If this sounds like you, then Moltz Construction Inc. may be the right fit.
