What you'll do: * Shadow process and project engineers, maintenance personnel, and production operators to understand our products, equipment, projects, and areas for improvement. * Facilitate, execute, or lead continuous improvement projects/activities with support from managers. * Work with the plant engineering team to develop capital appropriation requests and develop adequate documentation to justify proposed investments by defining scope, preparing a project budget, and establishing project schedules. * Identify, work with, and lead vendors/contractors to achieve project objectives. * Optimize process control parameters in partnership with manufacturing, quality, and R&D to establish standard operating procedures.
