The CT Technologist works under the direction of a Radiologist to perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision for technical detail. Room set up, patient positioning, patient screening, image acquisition and quality control are the direct responsibilities of the Technologist. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Graduate of a Certificate, Military, or Higher Learning Radiography program. Preferred/Optional: Additionally, 6-12 months of CT training. EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: None Preferred/Optional: Two years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
