This position is a permanent, full time position made up of 8-13 week travel assignments - not a short term option or temporary contract. Rates vary by location and specialty.

Responsibilities
Operate a scanner to obtain images used to diagnose and treat of pathologies.
Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develop film in an automatic processor.
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
One year of recent experience as MRI Tech required.

Summary:

Seeking an MRI Technician for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:
Performs basic scan protocols (i.e.; 2D/3D T1&T2, SE, FSE or TSE, cardiac gating), advanced protocols (i.e.; MR Angiography, MR Spectroscopy, MR Interventional and Echo Planar Imaging) and advanced cardiac protocols (i.e.; 2D/3D/4D and Spiral EPI Diffusion and Perfusion).
Selects proper technical factors by submitting exams denoting region of interest and or pathology. Evaluates the technical quality of the procedure ordered assuring that only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
Properly administers the type of contrast media to be given based on the patient's medical history and established policy and procedure.
Operates a power injector to properly load and dispense IV contrast material under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
Performs venipuncture for the administration of paramagnetic contrast media in accordance with department policy and procedure
Applies appropriate technical factors to assure optimal procedures and patient safety. Assists with the orientation and education of staff within the environment. Instruct/lead in-service trainings including MRI safety as required.
Provides technical leadership and is technical/job related resource for staff.
Assist with development and implementation of Center/department policies and procedures.
Encourages, promotes and initiates processes and activities which work toward achieving service excellence in the department/Center.
Where applicable, serves as Clinical instructor for students of affiliate imaging programs.
Obtains and records all pertinent clinical information relating to the procedure ordered including but not limited to patient history, pregnancy, allergies, lab tests, correlative procedure results, reason for the test and patient complaints/symptoms in accordance with Center policy.
Performs quality control procedures prior to performing clinical procedures and regularly inspects equipment.
Ensures that patient results are communicated to healthcare team timely, accurately and without compromising security and confidentiality.
Ensures all required documentation, requisitions, forms, charges, and patient's medical record are completed per established Center policy. Completes all written and computer documentation in a timely manner.
Ensures compliance to JCAHO (if applicable) and all other applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Plays active role in ACR accreditation and in process/maintenance of Center accreditation.
Actively participates in staff orientation, training, education programs, performance improvement, and quality control activities and initiatives
Uses equipment in safe and effective manner; reporting repairs to appropriate person. Competent and responsible in prevention of contamination and transfer of infection. Reduces hazards/risks, prevents accidents/injuries and maintains safe conditions in workplace.

What Qualifications you will need:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of JRCERT accredited Imaging programrequired
2 to 4 years' experience required
ARRT (R), (MR), BLS required. Specialty certifications/licensure may be required as per state guidelines if additional imaging with radiation is being performed. If work is performed in a Center that is not yet ACR accredited, you must be eligible for ARRT MR registration and agree to take/pass within the designated timeframe.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The MRI Technologist MRSO performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
What you will do in this role:
Perform MRI exams.
Be knowledgeable of all MRI safety standards and adhere to them at all times.
Complete MR safety questionnaire prior exam.
Document GFR for contrasted procedures, following established GFR safety protocol.
Visually monitor patient throughout procedure, maintaining verbal communication.
Respond to patients needs in regards to apprehension and anxiety.
Responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies necessary for quality patient care.

MRSO specific responsibilities:
Assures the responsibility of the safety of patients along with the chief radiologist medical officer, and medical physicist by establishing MR policies and protocols are followed during daily operations.
Developing MR safety education and training for medical, technical, nursing, and ancillary staff that may enter the MR environment.
The MRSO, with assistance from Radiologist, Physicist role includes, but are not limited to the providing of high-level advice on the engineering and scientific aspects of MR safety as it applies to a specific MR unit, provide safe advice regarding acceptance testing after a new installation or upgrade, and be an advisor for the safe implementation of MR protocols, especially those involving MR imaging of medical implanted devices & those device represent ivies who service those devices.
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
ARRT MR required upon hire.
MRSO certification required within six (6) months of employment or role change.
BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
Minimum three (3) years MRI experience including diagnostic procedures, contrast studies, and patient monitoring.
On Call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back.

PRN CSU Aides will work 12 hour shifts Monday-Friday and Weekends, days (7am-7pm) and nights (7pm-7am), or partial shifts, as needed.
Essential Job Results:
Provide support to the CSU team members; especially to CSU Nurse to ensure consumers needs are identified and met.
Facilitate the greeting of consumers, identify their needs, reassure consumers of the process for risk assessments, and keep consumer informed of next steps towards their stabilization.
Answer crisis calls from community members in distress.

The Mammography Technologist works independently in a clinic setting to obtain mammography images and assesses them for quality. This position is responsible for the timely, courteous, and accurate collection of patient information and all related documentation to complete registration, insurance verification and authorization, and medical scheduling procedures. EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Willing to train new employees. Experience as a Radiologic Technologist, Mammography Technologist, CT Technologist, or DEXA Technologist preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) certifications with Radiology and Mammography credential required within 1 year of hire. Job Summary:

Essential Functions of a Mammography Technolosgist:
