At Chesterton, we have a laser focus on our customers. The Material Handler I is a frontline manufacturing position responsible for accurately processes the intake, transfer, and storage of all mechanical seal components and packaging in accordance with company procedures and expected time frames. This includes but is not limited to: performing computer transactions on manufacturing orders, putting stock away in defined inventory locations, pulling components for customer orders, and packing and shipping items as requested.
Job Model: On-Site
All fully remote positions will require you to travel on site 2-4 times per month depending upon business needs at your own expense.
Hybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.
On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.
A typical day at work would include:
Accurately transacts data daily related to incoming and stocking items in Company's internal Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Rotates materials for shipments and storage in accordance with accounting standards (FIFO).
Operates forklift to return empty pallets to the loading dock area for reuse or removal and as needed to support the business.
Maintains stock of packaging supplies by doing a daily inventory of the packaging stations and resupplying as needed.
Conducts daily, system generated cycle counts of inventory and reports information to a data processor.
Accurately Picks / Packs component and customer orders in accordance with department procedures and quality metrics and using proper packaging and labeling methods.
Physically scraps items in accordance with company procedures and transacts out damaged products.
Coordinates with facilities group to ensure trash and recycling is removed from prescribed area.
Inspects equipment daily used in the function of their jobs. i.e. Fork Truck, Pallet Jack, etc.
May perform other manufacturing support functions as needed.

Your role
Your mission as a Parts and Service Coordinator is provide support to the service team, for all shop and field service repairs of compressed air equipment and provide regular updates to the Operations Team and customers. You will work with the Operations Team to coordinate the activities of the Service Department. You will be information liaison between the Dispatcher, Service Manager, Service Technicians, Parts Specialist, and customers. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager.
• You will support incoming calls for service of compressed air equipment and schedule all shop and field service repairs in computer system.
• You will provide regular updates to customers regarding parts and service that is in process.
• You will provide price quotations for service jobs to customers.
• You will back-up the Dispatcher when necessary. Including but not limited to (editing as needed) scheduled service orders in computer system (including both manual orders and service contracts) and facilitate the closing of service orders approved for invoicing.
• You will review and maintain labor records for Service Technicians.
• You will place orders for parts required to complete service orders, and work to expedite the delivery of these orders, as needed.
• You will complete administrative requirements for element return function.
• You will report completed service jobs and/or problem areas on a daily basis to the Operations Manager.
• You will type estimates of repair, service agreements, letters, memos, etc.

Responsible for setting up and performing a variety of inspections on purchased or manufactured material to ensure compliance with customer, quality and company requirements. The ability to interpret inspection requirements from blueprints/drawings, sketches and Engineering Specifications. At Chesterton, we have a laser focus on our customers. The NC Operator II is a frontline manufacturing position responsible for operating Numerical Control machine tools including, but not limited to, lathes, millers, EDM, etc., as needed to manufacture metal or plastic components. One or more machines may be running at the same time. Inspects work and performs quality checks to ensure conformance to Engineering DWGS. Will record data for SPC, either manually or electronically. Cross checks other cell operators' work for first piece inspection and advises of any quality issues. Machinist will support training in cells or on equipment they have successfully operated for a minimum of 1 year. Works as part of a team and must be willing to support quality and production goals.

Territory Management and Sales
Promote the sale of Williamson-Thermoflo branded products to identified contractors and wholesale distributors located within the sales territory,
Interface with distributor principles such as top management, sales management, purchasing management, and personnel in purchasing, inventory control, sales, warehouse, warranty/claims, accounts payable departments
Conduct personal calls on contractors with and without distributor sales people, at distributor sponsored product shows, meetings, seminars, etc.
Proactively seek out and engage with new customers, contractors, and distributors within territory to expand our market presence and increase sales
Meet or exceed year end revenue goals
Plan and implement sales activities with distributor customers
Educate customers and prospects on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages
Collaborate with internal teams, including warranty and customer service to provide quick responses and resolution to distributor and contractor questions.
Represent Williamson-Thermoflo product line during regional and national trade shows
Customer Support:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers, contractors, and distributors (including top management, sales, purchasing, inventory control, accounts payable, etc.) through regular communication and follow up, sales calls, product demonstrations, sponsored product shows, and face to face meetings
Deliver product and technical training to enhance understanding and ability and effectively promote products
Participate in activities such as new product introductions, product presentations, and technical presentations relating to the installation and operation of Williamson-Thermoflo products. Participation to be in conjunction with, but not restricted to, distributor customers
Analytics, Research, and Reporting
Create and maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward goals.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to management
Actively participate in product growth opportunities including new product introductions, product presentations, and technical presentations

Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in HVAC, plumbing, or closely related industry

Your role

You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager
