Responsible for managing the CEO's agenda including organizational priority-setting, strategic planning, and key internal initiatives while supporting high-level decision making through analysis, coordination, and recommendations. The role also functions as a central liaison between the CEO, the Senior Executive Team (SET), and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity, follow-through, and organizational alignment. Duties and Responsibilities CEO Partnership & Strategy Execution Leads the development and management of the organization's priority framework, ensuring goals are aligned with mission, strategy, and operational capacity. Establishes operating rhythms (dashboards, CEO check-ins, SET routines) that drive accountability, transparency, and timely execution. Tracks organizational performance against strategic and operational priorities; provides regular reporting and decision-ready updates to the CEO. Identifies emerging risks, constraints, and execution gaps; escalates issues and proposes solutions to maintain momentum. Strategic Planning & Organizational Alignment Manages and drives the organization's strategic planning process in partnership with the CEO and SET, ensuring clear timelines, stakeholder input, and measurable outcomes. Supports translation of strategic priorities into annual operating plans and cross-functional initiatives. Facilitates alignment between Centers/Departments to ensure shared ownership of organizational priorities and minimized siloed execution. Ensures internal teams understand organizational direction through clear planning documentation and communication support. Cross-Organization Collaboration & Leadership Support Drives collaboration across departments by coordinating integrated workstreams, resolving barriers, and aligning leadership on shared outcomes. Facilitates SET discussions and meetings to support effective decision-making, accountability, and clarity. Builds internal partnerships that promote communication flow across functions such as finance, HR, IT, programs, and membership. Serves as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO and SET on organizational dynamics, performance, and operational improvement. CEO Decision Support & Executive Operations Provides direct strategic and operational support to the CEO, including briefing documents, scenario planning, and executive-level research and analysis. Evaluates organizational proposals and initiatives for feasibility, risk, and alignment to enterprise goals; prepares recommendations for CEO review. Coordinates executive-level communications and leadership messaging as requested. Maintains high discretion and judgment in handling confidential information, sensitive personnel matters, and organizational risk. Organizational Initiative Leadership Leads and/or co-leads high impact internal initiatives on behalf of the CEO (e.g., transformation initiatives, systems change, governance improvements, structure/role clarity, operational process upgrades. Develops project plans, milestones, and success metrics; oversees implementation and cross-functional delivery. Ensures major initiatives are resourced appropriately, supported by stakeholders, and reported clearly to the CEO and SET. Board Relationships & Governance Support Serves as a key partner to the CEO in managing Board relationships and communications. Supports governance documentation, Board committee coordination, and follow-up actions after Board meetings. Maintains awareness of Board priorities and ensures alignment between governance activities and organizational planning/execution. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree, MBA, MPA, or similar preferred). Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in internal operations, strategic planning, executive management, or organizational transformation. Demonstrated experience managing organization-wide projects and driving cross-organizational alignment. Experience supporting executive leadership decision-making through analysis, strategic briefs, and recommendations. Strong familiarity with governance practices, board relations, or senior stakeholder engagement. Skill in developing high-impact communication (written briefings, executive presentations). Organizational agility and systems thinking with the ability to drive alignment in a complex environment. Strong political acuity and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a membership organization, association, nonprofit, or public-sector environment with complex stakeholders. Proven experience facilitating strategic planning and translating strategy into operational execution. Experience leading organizational change management initiatives. Given the unique importance of the position of the Election Workers during the electoral process and the sensitivity of this highly visible position, BOE seeks individuals with call center/customer service experience to serve as a part of the election administration team. .DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent will contact potential election workers to schedule them for training, enter the critical election worker information into a secure database, confirming training dates, assign each election worker to a specific Voter Center location, monitor email and voicemail daily, respond to all messages either verbally or through email correspondence, log all communications in the Call Center record, assist with collecting and organizing post-election documents from all Vote Centers, maintain a well-organized filing system, and immediately following the election, collect all necessary information for the submission of election workers' payroll. Education AND Experience Incumbent should have call center and data entry experience. Three (3) years of service is experience preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working in high-performance, quota-based environments. Successful candidates must enjoy interacting with the public and have patience for resolving conflicts. Candidates also must be comfortable interacting with highly diverse populations. Licensure/Certification None Work Environment Work is primarily sedentary and performed in the normal office setting, and makes no unusual physical demands. The CAVC reviews final decisions of the Board of Veterans' Appeals (BVA). Only the person seeking VA benefits may appeal. Most cases appealed to the CAVC deal with entitlement to disability or survivor benefits, or the amount of compensation for those benefits, but some deal with education assistance, medical care, life insurance, home loan foreclosure, or waiver of indebtedness. Because the CAVC is a court of appeals, it does not conduct trials or take new evidence. It bases its review on the same evidence that was before the BVA when the BVA rendered the decision being appealed. In the majority of cases decided by the CAVC, the appellant has retained an attorney or a non-attorney practitioner who is versed in veterans law. Many attorney and non-attorney practitioners provide their legal services free of charge. There is a Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program that recruits and trains volunteer attorneys to assist appellants who are unable to find representation. About the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Litigation Group The Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Litigation Group of VA's Office of General Counsel represents the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in all cases brought before the CAVC. It is the largest professional staff group in the Office of the General Counsel. With nearly 150 people and growing, the group includes approximately 95 appellate attorneys, 20 supervisors, and a support staff of paralegals, legal assistants, and clerks. Our practice consists largely of legal research and writing, including: Appellate briefs, procedural motions, legal memoranda, responses to petitions for extraordinary relief and requests for class action, and responses to applications for attorney fees and expenses filed under the Equal Access to Justice Act, 28 U.S.C. § 2412, Briefing conferences, facilitated by the CAVC's Central Legal Staff, are held in most cases. There is frequent interaction with opposing counsel, from record development to the negotiation of fees. Oral argument is also an important part of each appellate attorney's practice. Hundreds cases have been argued before the Court in the CAVC's courtroom in Washington, D.C., and others have been showcased in arguments conducted at law schools throughout the country. Unlike other agencies, our attorneys are lead counsel and argue the cases in Federal court. Each appellate attorney maintains a full caseload for which he or she is fully accountable to the CAVC and to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.     The ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) exists within the organizational structure of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) under the supervision of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The United States Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Corps Officers, civil service staff and contractors comprise the healthcare professionals working together to provide quality healthcare services. IHSC serves as the medical experts for ICE for detainee health care. Primary Responsibilities The Provider Relations Liaison (PRL) is the incumbent responsible for being a liaison between IHSC, offsite providers and the Veterans Affairs Financial Services Center (VAFSC). Liaison with community-based providers that provide or are interested in providing medical and mental health services for ICE detainees regarding Medicare reimbursement rates, Letters of Understanding, credentialing requirements, medical claims processing, payment and denials. Serve as one of the primary points of contact and liaison for Veterans Administration (VA) Financial Services Center (FSC) issues relating to medical claims processing, resolution, and provider reimbursement. Evaluate, assess, and recommend reimbursement methodologies and procedures to community providers. Responsible to identify potential fraud, waste and abuse when working with community providers. Reconcile and resolve denied community provider claims and/or appeals. Contacts community providers for recruitment and enrollment into the IHSC provider network by executing a Letter of Understanding. Liaises with IHSC stakeholders (Field Medical Coordinators and Referral Coordinators) when necessary to explain IHSC and VA FSC policy regarding claims processing. Assist VA FSC when necessary, in coordinating and obtaining information pertaining to Medical Provider Authorization Requests (MedPARs) or information pertaining to eligibility in the alien tracking system. Coordinate the purchase or rental of durable medical equipment (DME) for detainees in ICE custody. Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies and position. Maintains functional proficiency and ease of use utilizing electronic health records as required by, and appropriate to, position. Completes all initial, annual and ad hoc training as required/assigned. Serves as a team member for analyzing established protocol practices and identifying areas for improvement. Maintains patient confidentiality, and confidentiality of all records, in compliance with the Privacy Act and HIPAA regulations in all work activities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or financial management. A minimum three years of experience in claims management, benefit, or third-party administration. Knowledge of the basic principles and standards of eHR procedures and methods. Knowledge of the documentation requirements, timeliness of referral management, and knowledge of eHR workflow to process electronic medical referrals and records, to review referrals and records for accuracy and completeness Recognize documentation inconsistencies in referrals within the eHR ensuring compliance and resolution. Should possess some knowledge of lnternational Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th revision (ICD-10), current procedural terminology (CPT), diagnosis-related group (DRG), and other Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) coding/billing requirements. Ability to work approximately 90% of time using a computer, telephone, scanner, and printers. Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment. Ability to adapt to sudden changes in schedules and flexibility in work requirements. Ability to communicate proficiently in English (verbal and written) in order to develop positive rapport with co-workers and other stakeholders. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in a multidisciplinary environment Ability to navigate in an electronic work environment including electronic health records, web-based training and communications. Knowledge of, and moderate proficiency in, common Microsoft Office programs, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
