Navajo Technical College company history timeline
NSC opened in 1979 as part of the Navajo Division of Labor.
Prompted by the school's expanding mission, in 1985 the Board of Directors changed the Skill Center's name to Crownpoint Institute of Technology (CIT).
In 2006, the Navajo Nation Council approved changing its name to Navajo Technical College.
