We support people who need assistance to remain living in a home setting. The individual and shared living provider share a home; the shared living provider must have an extra bedroom.
POSITION SUMMARY- LIVE-IN SHARED LIVING PROVIDER (CAREGIVER) NEEDED
Nonotuck is seeking a well-balanced, active, and social person or couple to support a busy man in a state-funded model of care known as Shared Living. He has a home in Chelmsford, MA that he hopes to share with his new caregiver. He is very active and enjoys a variety of social and recreational activities. He loves being part of family life, going out to eat, staying busy, and playing video games. He also values community programs and meaningful connections. He dreams of living with people who share his interests and who will empower, respect, and celebrate him for who he is. He is especially proud to have his own home and wants to find the right caregiver to share it with. He attends a day program and works five days a week, and he enjoys keeping active during his time off.
Who We Are Looking For: A caring individual or couple who:
Can provide a warm, inclusive home environment.
Will support his daily living needs with dignity and respect.
Share similar interests, such as leading an active lifestyle, and outings to connect with the community.
Can assist him with skill development, budgeting, and managing his monthly funds.
Are prepared to help navigate emergent safety situations and support scheduling activities to ensure a balanced, fulfilling life.

The caregiver will receive a generous stipend, training, and ongoing support. Clinical supports, nursing supports, and respite funds are also available, as needed.

Nonotuck is seeking single people, couples and families who are interested in living with and sharing their life with an intellectually or physically disabled person. We are currently searching for shared living providers in the Webster area.
Beyond providing care, the shared living provider will develop a meaningful relationship with the person they are sharing their home with. She/he/they will be a roommate and a friend, spending time together, sharing activities, and enjoying a lively and engaged life. We consider this to be a long-term commitment.
The duties of the shared living provider will include but not be limited to building on and maintaining independence by being able to assist in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as participation in regular household routines, providing companionship and going out on community activities/outings. Care Providers would be responsible for helping with grocery shopping, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, routine budget management, medication management, and medical appointments.
When searching for shared living providers we will consider applicants who live in single family homes or apartments (with an extra bedroom) or are willing to move and who are single, a couple, families, people with children, with pets, and people with or without experience.

Nonotuck is seeking well-balanced caregivers to share their home and life with a person with disabilities. The caregiver(s) helps the person with their daily activities, health, wellness, encourages community participation, and promotes a safe and meaningful lifestyle.
Beyond providing care, the shared living provider will develop a meaningful relationship with the person they are sharing their home with. She/he/they will be a roommate and a friend, spending time together, sharing activities, and enjoying a lively and engaged life.
We will consider applicants who live in single family homes or apartments (with an extra bedroom) or are willing to move. We are looking for people who are single, couples, families, people with or without children and pets. No previous experience necessary.

Community experience that expands specifically to the Department of Developmental Services, Adult Foster Care Services, HCBS waivers (supporting those with a Brain Injury or those who have chronic conditions affecting their availability to live safely in the community) preferred

He enjoys talking on the phone, socializing with friends, and spending time with his girlfriend. He would benefit from a supportive environment that encourages his independence while assisting with tasks like meal planning, transportation, and managing his schedule. We are currently searching for a bilingual couple or individual to provide a wonderful shared living home for a woman in her 70s in the Boston area. She likes cooking Spanish food, people watching, TV (loves game shows), and staying socially active. She is looking for a person or people that share similar interests and will help her feel like she is an inclusive member of the household. We are looking for a Spanish speaking shared living provider who would welcome her into their home and provide supports with daily living and skill development. She will also require assistance with budgeting and managing her monthly funds, managing emergent safety situations, and support with scheduling activities. A home with a first-level bedroom and bathroom are required due to her mobility needs.
Who We Are Looking For: A caring individual or couple who:
* Can provide a warm, inclusive home environment.
* Will support her daily living needs with dignity and respect.
