The CNC Operator reports to the Plant Manager/ Shift Supervisor and will provide support in programming, setting up, and operating the computer numerical control (CNC) machine in support of manufacturing operations, specifically for the Mass Plywood Plant. The CNC Operator will maintain quality and safety standards pertinent to this machine center and maintain records for equipment supplies. Requirements JOB RESPONSIBILTIES: Included, but not limited to: Load and unload parts for machining up to 40 pounds. Perform basic equipment maintenance. Read and interpret manufacturing prints. Possess efficient math skills and basic understanding of geometric tolerance. Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges. CNC setup and operation; tech tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly. Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls are a plus. Inspect machined parts following 1st Part and in process inspection protocol. CNC 3 axis experience, 4 & 5 axis machining experience is a plus. Able to change fixtures, replace tool changes and manage tool libraries.
