Communicate any job-related issues/questions (part feature, program, inspection, etc.) to lead personnel for resolution and or clarification
Reporting all machine collisions and malfunctions to lead personnel
Required Skills/Abilities:
Familiarity with Mazak machines a plus
Proficient with standard types of measuring inspection equipment to verify machined dimensions or product - Indicating Micrometers, Bore Gages, Sunnen Gage, & Test Indicators
Read and interpret of B/P's including assemblies, dimensions, tolerances, symbols, notes, abbreviations, GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing), and any other standard nomenclature per customer, government, or industry standards and following directions
Ability to read and interrupt G & M machine codes and program understanding is a plus
Experience holding tolerances of .0002” - .0005” and surface finish requirements of 16 is a plus
Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, and willing to learn
General knowledge of standard shop practices and equipment
Basic Qualifications:
High School or GED
5+ years' experience preferred but not required
Ability to use computer software, company ERP system, clocking in and out of jobs, etc.
Familiarity with Mazak machines a plus
Familiarity with live tooling a plus
Must be able to stand for the majority of the work shift
