    The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and overseeing the operation of CNC machinery used in the manufacturing of plywood components, specifically for reel production. This role ensures that parts such as flanges are cut accurately and efficiently in accordance with production schedules and quality standards. The CNC Operator is also responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring smooth machine operation throughout the production process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications. Interpret production schedules and blueprints to determine the required materials and cutting instructions. Cut flanges and other reel components from plywood using CNC equipment. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments. Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate unresolved problems to maintenance or supervision. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols. Document production information and machine operation data as required. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and ensure continuous improvement. All other duties assigned Qualifications Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Attention to detail. Experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting preferred. For safety reasons, you must be 18 years or older to be considered. 2 years' experience as CNC operator preferred. Physical requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, twist/squat, push, pull, reach during entire shift. Must be able to work in a hot/ cold warehouse environment. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving, stacking, and wrapping flanges. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud, and personal protective equipment is required (ear plugs, safety glasses, steel toe work shoes at minimum). This position requires constant standing, walking, bending, and moving back and for in the production line. Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds, with reaching, pulling, pushing. This position description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The incumbent may be required to perform other duties as required by the position and/or department manager. Base Rate: $16.85 + $1 shift differential. Schedule 10-hour shift Second Shift from 3:30 pm to 2: 00 am. In person
