Hamilton Company is looking for a CNC Operator to work with our team. Under the direction of a supervisor and/or experienced machinist, they will perform various tasks associated with the manufacture of a multitude of machined parts to ensure a defect-free product. The CNC Operator will be responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines such as but not limited to lathes and milling machines.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: $23 -$40 per hour
Other responsibilities may include:
Loading parts, proving tapes, operating controls, setting offsets and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements
Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, the sequence of operations and setup requirements
Keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment
Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations
May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments such as calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales
Intermediate knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an intermediate understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensions
Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bards, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Must be willing and able work flexible shifts and changing work schedules
Must possess basic math skills
Education/Experience
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines in a heavy manufacturing environment

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the safe production of extrusion profiles that meet or exceed VEKA Inc. standards in quality and output levels in a timely manner. These standards enable us to provide a quality product/service to ensure our customer's satisfaction.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Responsible for adhering to all Safety Policies & Procedures.
2. Operate assigned extruders to produce profiles that meet established 3 tier quality standards.
3. Responsible for the proper set-up and start-up of production in an efficient manner.
4. Responsible for making process adjustments as required to established running and quality specifications.
5. Responsible for the profile production during shift, ensuring that it meets or exceeds VEKA Inc's established quality standards such as 3 - tier standards.
6. Responsible for proper packaging and correct quantities as described in the stacking diagrams, whether the product is packaged in a Rack, Half-Rack, Box, Bundles or some other means.
7. Responsible for entering dimensional and attribute checks into our internal BDE database throughout the shift at the required intervals on time every time. This includes the use of calipers, scales, tape measure and other tools.
8. Responsible for properly preparing the QA samples on time every time.
9. Responsible for the proper disposition of scrap profile in designated racks (evenly stacked, properly segregated)
10. Responsible for notifying the Lead Tech of the correct number of scrap pcs that they made during the shift for each profile that they worked on.
11. Responsible for transferring a complete packaging unit of material including the correct barcode and green tag labels.
12. Responsible for verifying that the profile meets or exceeds the customer expectations.

Safely operate standard warehouse equipment, including forklifts, high reach, and riding pallet jack.
Work with production team to empty all full recycling bins throughout the day.
Separate recyclable materials from non-recyclables and separate different types of materials to maximize value of materials.
Work with baling team to ensure all bales are groomed and free of contaminants.
Weigh and record bales of product and keep accurate records of what is recycled.
Clean machine at the end of every day using a variety of tools including air compressor.

Responsibilities
Review job documentation, including MPIs, assembly drawings, ECOs, masking instructions, and customer requirements prior to starting work.
Mask boards accurately using tapes, dots, boots, and custom masks to protect keep-out areas from coating material.
Operate conformal coating equipment such as selective coating machines, spray booths, or dip-coating systems, depending on job requirements.
Verify coating material viscosity, mix ratios, and application parameters; document measurements as required.
Apply conformal coating (urethane, acrylic, silicone, parylene, or other materials as specified) according to defined thickness, coverage, and curing requirements.
Inspect coated assemblies for proper coverage, thickness, defects, and compliance with IPC-A-610, customer specifications, and workmanship standards.
Identify and correct coating and masking defects; escalate recurring issues to the Lead, Engineer, or Supervisor.
Perform rework or touch-up coating as needed using brushes, spray guns, or approved tools.
Cure assemblies using appropriate equipment (ovens, UV cure systems, etc.) and verify completion per process standards.
Complete first-article verification and in-process inspection forms when required.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and strictly follow ESD, FOD, and chemical handling safety procedures.
Record production data, coating material usage, and pass-down information accurately.
Support cross-training and assist in other production areas as directed by Supervisor, Engineer, or Manager.
Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process quality and efficiency.

PURPOSE:
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture precision components. This position requires following process sheets and engineering drawings to ensure that parts meet required specifications, while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Machine Operation & Setup
* Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components according to blueprints and specifications.
* Verify machine parameters, run sample parts, and adjust equipment to maintain quality and productivity.
* Select, mount, and remove tooling and fixtures using appropriate hand tools; return cleaned tools to proper storage locations.

* Intermediate knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an intermediate understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensions
* Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bards, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines
* Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
* Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
* Must be willing and able work flexible shifts and changing work schedules
* Must possess basic math skills
Education/Experience
* Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
* Must have experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines in a heavy manufacturing environment
