Job Description The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is responsible for safely administering prescribed medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CMA also assists with monitoring residents' conditions, documenting care, and providing support with daily living activities while ensuring compliance with facility policies and state regulations. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with state regulations. Accurately document medication administration in the electronic health record (EHR) or medication administration record (MAR). Observe residents for any adverse reactions to medications and promptly report changes to the nurse on duty.
