The candidate will: · Will serve as a Network Virtualization Engineer and Developer supporting network build out and deployments to the C2BMC Test Facility as necessary to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) · Work on complex assignments and perform a wide range of VMware system administration activities with little to no direct supervision. · Provide root\-cause analysis for recurring or critical problems. · Work closely with a team of system administrators, network engineers, and cybersecurity administrators to maintain a high\-quality test environment for the government customer. · Perform vulnerability remediation and mitigation to reduce cybersecurity risks and ensure DoD compliance. · Conduct daily system monitoring, system backup and restoral, and application upgrades to ensure optimal and continuous system operations. · Document necessary system changes and actions in appropriate systems of record to ensure historical data is captured per customer and mission requirements. · Advise Government customer on system status, optimization and improvement efforts in accordance with program objectives and design baselines as needed. · Assist system administration team with the deployment of new virtual machines. · Perform administration of virtualization environments to include troubleshooting, break\/fix activities, the patching and remediation of servers, and system audit log reviews as needed. · Have good written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience briefing customers and management. Job description Location: Hudson, Colorado Company: United States Rail & Logistics Position Type: Full-Time | Industrial Switching Operations About the Role: United States Rail & Logistics is expanding our industrial switching operations in Hudson, CO, and we're looking for a skilled and safety-focused Railroad Engineer/Conductor to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe movement of railcars within an industrial facility, coordinating switching operations, performing inspections, and ensuring smooth, efficient service for our customers. Key Responsibilities: Perform locomotive operations including starting, stopping, coupling, and uncoupling railcars. Execute daily industrial switching tasks in accordance with customer needs and company procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of locomotives and railcars. Communicate clearly with ground crews, operators, and control teams via radio. Ensure strict compliance with all FRA, OSHA, and company safety standards. Complete necessary paperwork, movement logs, and operational reports. Operate in all weather conditions and maintain awareness in a high-hazard environment. Qualifications: Prior experience as a Railroad Conductor, Engineer, or Industrial Switchman strongly preferred. Ability to safely operate locomotives and handle rail movements inside a plant or industrial yard. Strong understanding of railroad safety rules, switching procedures, and car-handling practices. Ability to work outdoors, perform physical tasks, and remain alert in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license required.
