Visit us online at: ***************************** Position: Surgical Tech (Cert) POSITION SUMMARY: A person having extensive knowledge, experience, proficiency and/or certifications in comprehensive, technical surgical skills that provides technical leadership in the care of the perioperative patient. Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, attends to the patients direct care needs. Acts a primary preceptor for Surgical Technology Students, Techs, and Sr. Techs in developing needed direct care skills and performs tasks as delegated by the RN. Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives in collaboration with other health team members.
