Summary:
Surgical Technologists facilitate the safe and effective execution of surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgeon. They are responsible for preparing the operatingroom, maintaining sterile environments, ensuring equipment functionality, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team to maximize patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Essential Work Functions:
Prepares the operatingroom by arranging instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure readiness for surgical procedures
Handles specimens with precision and care to maintain diagnostic integrity and follow institutional protocols
Verifies the availability of surgical supplies, checking machines and equipment for proper functioning prior to surgery
Assists with patient transfer to and from surgery as required
Anticipates the needs of the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and supplies during procedures
Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members
Decontaminates and assists in the sterilization of instruments, surfaces, and other supplies and equipment
Ensures instruments, gowns, drapes, surfaces, and other supplies meet infection control standards
Adheres to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
Required Essential Skills:
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend

As a Security Ambassador - Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Site Location: Decatur, IL
Set schedule: We have 3 shifts available, and are offering a $1500 bonus - ($500 bonus after 30 days, 90 days, and after 1year)
Full-time rotating shift 3rd shift 6p.m. to 6a.m.

Part-time, Fill in Various hours, could become full time

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Ambassador
Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Ambassador
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Strong report writing skills
Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
Strong proficiency with technology
If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
You have a state license if required
You are a Certified EMT
You are able to respond to medical emergencies
You have a valid drivers license
