Job Description:
The Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) role requires a passionate healthcare professional to provide first aid support and safety coaching to associates. You will work closely with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and Injury Prevention Specialist, ensuring the health and safety of all associates while managing workplace injury prevention, case management, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide first aid support for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
· Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with associates.
· Maintain and document all medical records of care provided.
· Oversee the workers' compensation program and manage return-to-work processes.
· Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
· Engage with associates on the operations floor, providing coaching on safe work habits and at-risk behaviors.
· Maintain a clean medical environment and ensure medical supplies are well-stocked.
· Participate in First Aid, CPR, and AED training and maintain certifications.
· Assist with drug testing protocols and emergency care delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
· One of the following:
· EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or NREMT.
· Six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, or similar.
· Active Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification.
Preferred:
· Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Experience with industrial wellness programs, musculoskeletal disorders, and ergonomics.
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation procedures.
· Skilled in digital record keeping.

10. Assist in various departments of the ASC under supervision as necessary.

Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Job Summary:
* Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team members, responsible for the handling or surgical instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during general surgical procedures
* Ensures understanding of assigned surgical procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the assigned surgical team
* Also provides service support related to patient preparation, patient transport, building services and assisting surgical care team with specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs
* Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures
Principle Duties And Responsibilities:
* Scrubs on general surgical procedures
* Prepares operating room by setting up table, instruments and supplies according to type of surgery
* Assures proper functioning of instruments and equipment prior to use and reports needed repairs appropriately
* Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards
* Displays cost-consciousness in the opening of sterile supplies and in the care and handling of surgical instruments
* Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures and notifies the appropriate people
* Makes necessary supply deliveries to unit and ancillary departments
* Maintains a safe and clean room environment; keeps room free from clutter, cleans and stocks rooms, returns equipment and supplies to designated storage locations, helps maintain cleanliness of assigned areas
* Provides comfort and support for pre-operative patients by demonstrating sensitivity to patient's care and privacy
* Maintains confidentially of patient and department care information
* Participates in discussions with the Unit Manager/Supervisor regarding job enrichment and career progression
* Completes required education in a timely manner and participates in on-going department specific educational programs
* Actively participates in audit monitors and department task forces
* Supports administrative and department governance changes to job role and operations
* May train/precept new employees in the Surgical Technologist l role within core assignment
* Completes required education in a timely manner and participates in on-going department specific educational programs
* Assist RN in admitting, transferring and discharging patients from the OR
* Assist leadership in adjusting par levels for efficient supply management
* Recognizes and participates in continuing education
* Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience:
* Physical ability to lift and move patients
* Physical ability to push, pull and/or lift case carts, instrument trays and equipment
* Able to work in a patient care area environment which may include exposure to communicable diseases, unpleasant odors, acute patient conditions, potential exposure to information, hazardous gases
* Prolonged standing and walking
