Job Summary

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Paramedic will support the delivery of a comprehensive range of medical services. The EMT Paramedic will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. at DOS, and provide care to DOD, and contractor personnel stationed in Iraq. The candidate will provide advanced medical care and support during emergency situations, including assessment, treatment, and transportation of patients. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency calls and assess patients' medical conditions.
Coordinate and supervise EMTs within scope of practice.
Performs in support of field emergency situations; Intravenous (IV) line insertions, venous blood draws, intraosseous (IO) access, intubation, medication administration, and 12-lead electrocardiogram with interpretation, and knowledge of a wide range of emergency medications.
Assist medical providers with medical procedures and treatments within the licensed scope of practice.
Assessment and documentation of the patient's vital signs, chief complaint, medical history, prescribed medications and care administered.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Related
Education:
Assist other health care members in providing patient specific detailed education regarding adequacy measures where appropriate - Online Clearance Monitoring (OLC), Adequacy Monitoring Program (AMP), Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM), and regarding disease process/access.
Treatment:
Welcome assigned patients and inquire as to their wellbeing since their last treatment.

Responsible for calculating and entry of individual patients' dialysis machine programming for Ultrafiltration (UF) goal; treatment time; and UF modeling as prescribed.

Record accurate and timely information regarding vital signs and treatment parameters onto the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet with initial identification
Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and, if applicable, progress notes.
Report any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to the registered nurse or supervisor.
Observe patient and conduct machine safety checks according to facility policy. Report any change or unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor.
Perform and document any intervention for unusual patient status and document patients' response to intervention.
Evaluate patients' vascular access during treatment including arterial and venous monitoring pressures, provide appropriate intervention as needed, document and report any unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor.

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Surgery (RN-Surgery) provides direct and comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients within an acute care hospital setting
Utilizing the nursing process, the RN-Surgery assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes
This role supports surgical interventions across all age groups and ensures patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the perioperative process
Essential Functions
Delivers patient-centered nursing care based on established standards of care and the nursing proces
Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with policy
Documents all aspects of patient care clearly and accurately
Monitors, evaluates, and communicates patient condition to healthcare team, patient, and family

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within time frame specified in facility policy)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required within timeframe specified in facility policy)
Experience
Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience preferred
Previous perioperative or surgical services experience strongly preferred
