This individual will also provide technical customer service and troubleshooting support related to pump systems and their applications. Working independently or supervising Mechanical Engineers, the Senior Engineer will develop new products, perform design calculations and manufacturability analysis, and use product design and function specifications to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. Essential Roles & Responsibilities · Create 3D mechanical models and assemblies using PTC Creo Parametric Software based on sketches, specifications, technical data, and customer needs. Utilize advanced features such as Options Modeler and Simulate extensions. · Create fully detailed 2D mechanical drawings using PTC Creo Parametric and AutoCAD for in-house manufacturing and external fabrication. · Maintain engineering-related portions of the company-wide PLM System (PTC Windchill), including part numbers, EBOMs, routings, and assisting Sales with customer product selection. · Streamline product designs based on design calculations, manufacturability, manufacturing time, material/component selection, workflow, and customer needs. · Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness with regard to company standards, functionality, regulations, and product requirements. · Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers regarding pump systems and their applications. · Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to resolve product-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction. · Other engineering-related duties as assigned.
