Our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our software operates to meet the demands of our customers. The Critical Facility Engineer will be a part of the Facility Operations team responsible for operating and maintaining critical systems in our data centers. Activities may include utilizing and developing computer programs, collecting and evaluating test data, and preparing and reviewing technical information. + Work with plant operations and maintenance personnel to evaluate system performance and generate plans for improvement. + Evaluate key performance indicators and operational data from maintenance programs to determine its overall effectiveness on equipment reliability and plant availability. + Utilize computer equipment and vibration data collection instruments to diagnose problems in plant equipment. + Assist in updating plant engineering drawings and documents. + Perform other duties as assigned. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + A bachelor's degree from an Engineering Accreditation Commission/Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC/ABET) accredited Mechanical Engineering program. + A valid driver's license. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Field-related engineering exposure. **PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS** This position requires frequent sitting and lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds; and occasional standing/walking, bending/reaching, kneeling, climbing, crawling, pushing/pulling up to 15 pounds and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds. This position requires use of a keyboard/computer and occasionally working at heights up to 250 feet, which requires the use of safety equipment, including a harness, in accordance with ANSI Z359 standards.
