Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibrations where certification may be required and electrical safety inspections on imaging and related equipment in compliance with established standards
Perform major repairs by replacing defective components, readjust components to manufacturer's specifications using appropriate tools and measuring instruments. May require certification in order to complete repairs
Assist with diagnostic imaging cross training of BMET Technicians
Confers with manufacturer's representatives and equipment operators to resolve equipment related problems
Provide emergency on-call responsibilities
Research and initiate orders for repair parts, working within established budget parameters
Conducts and compiles Quality Assurance records and reports necessary for compliance with specifications and policies
Document all significant asset related actions in compliance with department practices
Must be capable of performing all the duties and responsibilities of a BMET III
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or military training
Prior experience of at least two years experience with various imaging equipment manufacturers or other appropriate related experience
Minimum of two years experience in the repair of radiology equipment and prior biomedical experience
Should possess specialized knowledge in several specialized modalities such as radiology, ultrasound, etc
Prefer certification (CRES) in these different modalities
Good communication and strong customer service skills
Ability and willingness to serve "on-call" duty as required
Must be willing to serve as a technical resource to others in areas of specialty or certification(s)

What you will do
The Capital Equipment Engineer, is responsible for technical support, including specification, development, implementation, and assurance of a qualified state for packaging equipment. Aligns packaging equipment requirements with the site's needs, ensuring customer service, and quality/compliance goals. Responsible for project's capital plan and equipment asset management, and reliability. Manages capital appropriation approval for assigned projects and spending management. Leads cross functional teams that includes equipment, automation, and packaging engineers to deliver key projects driving business results in alignment with the site goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead equipment installation, qualification, validation and start up for assigned projects, and communicate potential issues and give clear direction to site teams to ensure successful project execution.
Plan and execute equipment and validations strategies aligned to the consumer asset management strategies to assigned areas within the company. Responsibilities include understanding existing limitations and developing technical solutions to eliminate waste.
Plan and execute equipment strategies by providing engineering solutions, technical advice, and assistance to Packaging and other departments as required.
Serve as an area owner and provide inputs for the long-range financial plan (LRFP) and the integration with the 5 year asset replacement plan. Help to manage area strategies and roadmap including but not limiting reliability and automation strategies integration.
Plan and execute multiple and/or major equipment and validation projects concerned with life cycle management initiatives and develop risk mitigation strategies to deliver project commitments.
Lead, develop, write, and gain cross functional alignment of required documentation for equipment systems qualifications and/or validations.
Develop and execute plans related to equipment that maintain high levels of Operational Equipment Efficiency (OEE) to assigned areas. Drives value through identifying and executing multi-site projects as needed by improving compliance, quality, efficiency, and cost.
Support and/or lead the development and assessment of the following types of information to support life cycle management initiatives, including but not limited to: design requirements, definition of the scope of change, packaging equipment solution proposals, prior knowledge and knowledge gap assessments, risk assessments, test plans, and test results analysis and conclusions
Develop, write, get cross-functional alignment, and route for approval qualification documentation (Examples: User Requirement Specifications, System Test Matrix, Intallation and Operational Qualification, reports, Project Qualification Plan, etc.)
Accountable for assigned project capital plan, monthly and quarterly expenditures and cashflow forecast, contingencies, and scope management.

Qualifications

Purpose
The Design Engineer is responsible for designing pneumatic conveying systems, DeDusting systems, and various components required for assigned projects, as well as producing all related approval and fabrication drawings, bill of materials, and other technical documents required for successful project completion. This position will report to the Project Engineering Manager and is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Duties and Responsibilities
Produce 2D AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks mechanical and/or electrical designs and drawings, layouts, P&ID's, flow sheets, equipment stack-ups, isometric drawings and bill of materials based on written and/or verbal instructions;
Complete drawings, datasheets, and manuals in metric and imperial system;
Ensure that equipment and system designs and drawings are delivered according to given timeframe, customer specification and industry standards as described in the contract agreement;
Ensure that equipment and system designs and drawings are delivered accurately with the required quality and in the timeframe scheduled;
Manage part number database;
Work closely with engineering and provide quality drawings and solutions to support the project engineers;
Participate in Kick-off meetings internally and, if required, externally, in order to fully understand the project design and schedule requirements;
Interface with other departments as needed regarding project related business issues;
Remain abreast of the latest technological innovations in design areas and propose improvements or upgrades when appropriate;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Work Experience
Minimum two (2) year technical degree with ten (10)+ years of experience or bachelor's degree with five (5)+ years of related experience and/or training in pneumatic conveying and dust collection systems; non-degree individuals with strong CAD abilities and practical industry experience will be considered.
Ability to use AutoCAD software and 3D SolidWorks design software is required;
Proficient in Microsoft Office;
Ability to read, interpret, and develop documents such as purchase orders, contracts, specifications, engineering reports, blueprints, and parts lists;
Ability to write routine correspondence in a clear and professional manner;
Speak effectively, both one-on-one and in groups with vendors, customers, and employees.

Job Description
The Environmental Operations Engineer is responsible supporting operations of the facility's filter plant, waste water treatment plant, and solid waste disposal activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures and is accountable for personal compliance with Plant and Departmental safety rules.
Completes all required computer-based training on time.
Attends all in-person safety training as it is scheduled.
Uses all PPE required for safe execution of job tasks. Has the ability to be qualified for respirator use.
Promotes and fosters a workplace culture of continuous improvement and improved environmental practices.
Adheres to environmental policies and promotes performing tasks in ways that support environmental objectives.
Works to ensure that the effective communications is transferred between the Environmental Operations and Environmental Compliance groups. Communicates critical information to Mill lead team and external stakeholders as needed.
Supports initiatives to reduce costs across solid waste and water treatment operations.
Actively participates in scheduled maintenance outages.
Recommends equipment repairs and replacement. Provides input to cost center owners of the need for such projects.
Works with outside vendors to improve operational performance and cost as it relates to water and effluent quality.
Provides data and technical support to assist Engineering and Maintenance with departmental related projects.
Assists with the preparation of annual Maintenance, Residuals/Waste Management and Capital budgets.
Accompanies state and regulatory agency inspectors during on-site inspections.
Assists EHS manager with solid waste permitting as needed.
Covers the Environmental Operations department for weekend call rotation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience - Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not mandatory. Water or waste water treatment experience is a bonus.
Education - 4 year degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering preferred. Other Engineering degrees will be considered and are dependent upon experience.
Competencies
Ability to apply basic principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems.
Strong leadership skills. Results focused with demonstrated success in execution.
Effective communication skills needed both internally and externally.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from operators, maintenance, or supervision.

The Design Engineer manages new product creation, engineering changes, and qualification processes for data center products, bills of material, and labor routings for all new products and product changes via prototyping and actual manufacturing process performance analysis.
