You will work within the Engineering Department to develop and document Chiller designs within the scope of products manufactured. You will help develop new technologies and transfer of existing technology to support the both the North American Chiller market. Key Responsibilities * Develop new Chiller products and supporting documentation based on project scope, market needs and regulatory requirements. * Create documentation for the modification of designs and Bills of Material to support new products, transfer of products, manufacturing process improvements and cost savings activity on existing products. * Design electromechanical products by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer and materials. * Perform computational fluid dynamic and finite element modeling and structural simulation for the products. Interpret results and recommend design changes/directions to meet product performance requirements. * Support customer applications with heat transfer, energy and chiller system designs. Review approval and manufacturing drawing packages. * Support other engineers and designers with product development projects related to design and documentation. * Potential to lead a team of 3-5 members consisting of engineers, drafters and contractors. * Create, disseminate and own Institutionalized Application and Performance knowledge, but being the subject matter expert on Chiller products. * Gather, catalogue, control and teach throughout sales, engineering, service and production teams. * Design Standardization Authority.
