Job Description Radiology Technologist - Full-time General Description Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Manager, the Radiology Technologist participates in the clerical and technical work components of the department in accordance with office policies and procedures and prescribed radiation safety procedures. The Radiology Technologist maintains patient confidentiality and ensures that the delivery of radiology services is professional, timely and accurate at all times. As an MRI Technologist you will be responsible for maintaining imaging equipment to ensure that patients are protected and in an optimal position for imaging. General Description Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Manager, the Radiology Technologist participates in the clerical and technical work components of the department in accordance with office policies and procedures and prescribed radiation safety procedures. Ensure prior diagnostic testing clearance is obtained, including X-rays and/or proper bloodwork/GFR and required documentation including operative notes are scanned into patient's chart. Trained in MRI safety level II, and BLS as required by ACR. Ensure that incoming faxes are delivered and/or acted on immediately. Retrieves and responds to voice mail messages in a timely manner.
