Key Responsibilities:

Transport and escort patients as required.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing environmental cleaning tasks according to agency policies.
Adhere to hospital/nursing safety procedures and regularly review them to ensure patient and personal safety.
Perform work that requires physical strength, such as frequently bending, stooping, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and lifting patients with assistance.
Ensure adherence to the agency's mission and desired patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or in a similar role.
High School Diploma or Equivalency is preferred.
Must possess both a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification and a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification from the state of Kansas.
Current BLS certification is required.

SUMMARY: The Mobile Crisis Clinician provides comprehensive crisis intervention, assessment, and stabilization services for individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies in both office and community settings. This position is a central component of ELC's 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response system, providing 30 hours/week of in-office work and 32-40 hours/week of after-hours on-call crisis intervention, along with limited ongoing outpatient care. The Crisis Clinician collaborates closely with the Crisis Team Leads, the Crisis Coordinator, and clinical leadership to ensure continuity of crisis response, high-quality service delivery, and adherence to KDADS requirements. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Crisis Services
Provide emergency mental health assessments, crisis intervention, safety planning, and stabilization services in office and community settings.
Deliver after-hours crisis services, including televideo crisis therapy and state hospital screenings.
Serve as the primary clinician for mobile crisis responses, teaming with a Case Manager, Peer Support Specialist, or secondary QMHP.
Participate in daily crisis check-ins and ongoing communication with Crisis Team Leads and the Crisis Coordinator.
Participate in after-hours coverage rotation per schedule (average 32-40 hours/week).
Attend scheduled supervision meetings with the Crisis Coordinator and/or Crisis Team Leads.
Complete timely and accurate documentation of all crisis and after-hours work.
Travel within Franklin and Miami Counties as needed to provide crisis response.
Maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.
Outpatient Responsibilities
Maintain a small outpatient caseload (approximately 10 hours/week of non-crisis therapy).
Meet or exceed minimum billable service expectations.
Complete initial assessments and treatment plans.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy as appropriate.
Collaborate with ELC staff and external agencies to support coordinated care.
Prepare reports and maintain clinical documentation in accordance with agency, contractual, and regulatory standards.
Comply with all ELC policies, procedures, and clinical expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee
