Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment. Maintain and repair automotive systems including but not limited to: diesel engine, transmission, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications. Communicate clearly and professionally with the Service Advisor to explain findings and recommend additional repairs. Provide accurate estimates of time and parts required for additional repairs. Ensure proper documentation and completion of all repair orders. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. What we look for Diesel mechanic experience required. Ford diesel experience or certifications are ideal but not required. Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail. This is not a sales position as your primary focus of your job will involve setting and confirming appointments for the salespeople. To be successful in this position you need to be comfortable with making a minimum of 120 outbound phone calls per day. You will be using ELEADS (customer relationship management database) on a daily basis, and will also need to be well versed in email and be able to learn software applications quickly.
