Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain Central Loadroom - Including correct use of material on all color and material changes
Use Bill of Material located on Basic IV for all material changes
Log all material type changes
Follow FIFO procedure when replacing material in Central Loadroom and Components
Weigh parts running without scales
Put away finished product correctly
Perform all Housekeeping duties in conformance to the Housekeeping Verification
Keep presses stocked with totes and skids
Keep returnable storage area stocked
Keep front wall, front aisle and back aisle clear at all times
Remove all stock, packaging, and assembly equipment from the press at the time of all mold changes
Keep returnable lids picked up
Change and recharge batteries when necessary
Scan and properly identify all assigned product
Any other duties as assigned by Plant Supervisor

On the job training will allow the technician to develop fundamental knowledge which will allow appropriate responses to abnormal conditions by performing minor troubleshooting and system adjustments, while using appropriate notification and escalation procedures.
The technician will typically perform non-invasive preventive maintenance, some invasive maintenance and update equipment logs.
The technician will use ISO Quality Management and be able to communicate effectively using written and verbal skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical and/or electronics experience preferred. Willing to perform physical labor which is generally associated with cylinder movements. Must be a strong team player and willing to work rotating shifts, on-call schedule, holidays, weekends or off shifts. 12 hour shifts working on an alternating schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week. Day shift 6:00 am-6:00 pm, night shift 6:00 pm-6:00 am.

Unload customer products as they come inbound
Load product that is being processed for outbound
Weigh products and take measurements (DIMS)
Receive, unpack, check, and verify product to ensure accuracy
Process receiving exceptions as needed
Use handheld RF tools to receive, pick, stock check, and ship products into WMS
Conduct stock checks, part number verification, Cycle Counts, support physical inventory

Follow all workplace safety regulations and guidelines
Executes department specific documentation processes including bill of lading verification, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse management system data entry to support inbound, outbound, and internal material handling operations

About the Role:
The Recycling Sorter is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting of materials on the conveyor line.
Responsibilities:

Stand at a station along a conveyor belt doing quality control on mixed recyclables.
Quickly identify non-conforming items for removal from a fixed station and safely remove them into designated chutes or bins.
General warehouse cleanup at the end of each shift.
Processing equipment cleanup at the end of each shift.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with the use of basic Personal Protective Equipment like a hard hat, reflective vest, steel toe boots, ear and eye protection, utility gloves, and arm preferred.
Previous experience in an industrial recycling facility preferred.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to stand for long period of time
Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud
