Make reports and maintain records as required. Investigate and analyze discrepancies in material and parts availability by using multiple production processes information, stock movement procedures such as pull systems, JIT, etc. May be necessary to assist in expediting parts required for production. Update Company databases transferring stock to appropriate locations. Perform general material handling duties within the plant, and process paperwork as required. Load and unload, arranging load to properly utilize space and balance load for proper weight distribution; block and secure as required to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Maintain work areas and vehicles in a clean and orderly condition checking oil, water, fuel levels, etc. to ensure proper operating levels and report any unsafe condition or needed repair or maintenance work as needed. Follow prescribed driving procedures and use of the daily vehicle operator's checklists. Participate in team activities and problem solving sessions as required. Communicate problems and/or solutions to appropriate team member. As needed, document and/or chart production data to aid in problem identification, quality feedback and production scheduling. Assist other team members in their duties to ensure a quality product and smooth flow. Troubleshoot problems when necessary. Train, instruct and assist other operators as required. Material Handler / Backup Bulk Truck Unloader - 3 rd Shift Warehouse, Erlanger, KY Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting packaging goals for customer orders by supplying materials and ready-to-package products to the packaging lines and finished goods to the warehouse. Performs bulk truck unloader functions when coverage is needed. Essential Job Functions: This position reports on 3 rd shift, however, it must be willing and available to work other shifts as assigned. Schedule flexibility and availability to work weekends and OT as scheduled by the shift supervisor. Operate Forklift to move product from Production to Packaging and from Packaging to Warehouse. Supply empty pallets and materials to pack lines as needed to keep packing lines operating. Required to assist in stacking at the end of the line as needed by loading boxes/bags onto a pallet. Replenishment Operator (Material Handler) The “Material Handler” will be responsible for all materials replenishment requirements which will include the staging of raw materials and foam stacking blocks at point of use, the transfers of parts and other components within and to all Skilcraft manufacturing cells through the visual management system. Shift Details: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. What You'll Do: Replenish and organize materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks and rolling carts. Receive newly delivered materials and place them in their designated locations. Transfer in-progress jobs to the correct departments. Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy using a tablet (iPad). Lift and handle boxes of paper up to 70 lbs. Communicate effectively with press operators and receiving associates to ensure smooth workflow. Perform any other tasks required by the Team or Area Leader. Responsible for preparing, staging, and loading outbound shipments per customer requirements. Verify that all products are labeled, packaged, and documented correctly prior to shipping. Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners to ensure accurate recordkeeping of all outbound materials.
