Assure a quality product is efficiently produced and packed in a safe and proper manner to ensure on-time delivery to the customer. This position covers tending, packing, and utility. MISSION: The packer is responsible, according to process and procedure, for handling and monitoring quality of material that will be converted into finished product; finished product; packaging materials; and related scrap that results from converting and other associated processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Handle and move (e.g. pack, feed, palletize, aerate, bale) process specific material/product consistent with the assigned position, the machine speed, and customer and quality specifications. * Ensure that all materials associated with the converting process and consistent with the assigned position are available in the correct quantities and in the correct location for order being run.
