The Active Picker/Packer located in Rensselaer, IN, is responsible for selecting parts associated with internal and external customer orders and ensuring that customers receive the correct parts and quantities in a timely and cost-efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, safe operation of powered equipment, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Hours of Work: 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (overtime: 3:30 AM - 2:00 PM) 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM (overtime: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM) Role Responsibilities Receive and read customer orders to identify items and location codes. Pick and count the correct quantity of items from the correct location. Enter information into computer systems to maintain accurate inventory counts. Move inventory using powered industrial equipment (PIE). Maintain cleanliness of aisles and storage locations. Pack products correctly, following area-specific requirements (International, VAS, Purolator). Locate pallets and product in designated areas for loading. Follow all safety rules, including use of harness equipment, hazardous waste handling, lock-out/tag-out, hearing, and eye protection.
