The Nonferrous Material Processor will play a crucial role in our recycling operations, responsible for the efficient processing of nonferrous materials to meet quality and production standards at our recycling facility in Tullahoma,Tn.
Responsibilities:
Non-ferrous laborer supports the non-ferrous department by sorting inbound material, segregate, and process nonferrous materials such as aluminum, copper, brass, and other valuable metals.
Inspect incoming materials for quality, contamination, and adherence to specifications. Must be able to identify the different metals that makes up the non-ferrous department
You will need to be able to assist customers and inspect all materials to determine what they are bringing in to make sure it's acceptable or unacceptable to purchase
When needed you will process material for outbound shipments
This is a labor position that will require you to be on your feet and to be able to move around often.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to optimize processing procedures and achieve production targets.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries. PPE must be worn at all times.
Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as needed
Ability to stand,bend,twist for long periods of time. This is not a sit down type job
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Typical work hours are 8am - 4:30pm M-F and able to work some Saturdays from 8am-11:30am
Qualifications:

The Role:

The Machine Operator 1 is a training position through which Associates may advance to the Machine Operator 2 position. Through this training position, associates will learn to operate extrusion lines and produce vinyl siding products and accessories: ensuring that extruder outputs are consistent with product specifications and that quality assurance standards are maintained by inspecting finished product for consistency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Punch time clock before and after shift to record time worked

Accurately performs pre-start checks, including verifying all equipment is ready for start-up

Experience: Six months of related or production experience is required.
Knowledge: Must be able to read, write and have working knowledge of machine mechanics. Must have good mechanical aptitude and above average math aptitude.

Mitigation Superintendent Role:
The Mitigation Superintendent reports to the Mitigation Project Manager. * An interest and background in electronics, instrumentation, control and data acquisition systems, PLCs, variable frequency drive systems, motion control systems, sensors and transmitters, actuators, PID control, and communication networks.
* A solid math background to select and develop data uncertainty calculations, digital filter algorithms, control transfer function realizations, and process simulation.
