THE OPPORTUNITY Highly visible role responsible for maximizing sales via data analysis, developing relationships with key stakeholders, assisting in the development of marketing and promotional programs, and working closely with sales counterparts, marketing, customer service, operations, and publishing colleagues. Responsible for product exposure, sales, and profitability for the Scholastic Trade Amazon business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales analysis, sales reporting, and meta-data implementation as needed. Consistently looking for opportunities to increase sales.
Day to day sales analysis of backlist drivers, new release titles (using internal reporting tools). Data driven testing and analysis. Vigilance on ways to improve meta-data, A+ content and exploring opportunities with AMS campaigns and beyond.
Manage Amazon operations, supply chain and forecasting.
Working closely with Customer Service, Operations and inventory teams to make sure that we have inventory and that it is moving out the door.
Main contact internally for all things Amazon related.
Being on the front lines and accessible to the entire trade team for Amazon inquiries, ideas, troubleshooting, etc. Main contact for meta-data team, marketing, editorial, publicity, as well as upper management.
Active participation in meetings.
Speak to the Amazon business in some way during every meeting and consistently during larger meetings like sales conference.
Work closely with marketing to facilitate campaigns that drive Amazon sales.
Brainstorm ideas with the marketing team to maximize backlist and frontlist opportunities through AMS, A+ content and meta-data on a consistent basis.
Work closely with editorial teams to help them build product lists that will perform well within the online market.
Report on trends and opportunities re Amazon business via acquisitions meetings, sales reviews, call reports, etc.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Senior Production Editor has a leadership role as key production contact for flagship imprints and bestselling titles and series. RESPONSIBILITIES
Take leading role on high-level department initiatives such as: Evaluating, revising, and reinforcing best practices, including written documents, in-person meetings, and emailed correspondence; advising on pub plan and scheduling of titles; assessing and hiring freelancers; supervising department intern; assisting with designing and piloting IT or documentation initiatives.

THE OPPORTUNITY The Scholastic AV team is seeking a part-time Audiovisual Temp to work 21-35 hours per week depending on departmental needs. This is a temporary, non-benefits-eligible position through May 31, 2026. RESPONSIBILITIES **Scope of Responsibilities:**
General duties include managing day to day operations in the conference center and event spaces at 130 Mercer Street, as well as assisting with the execution and management of virtual events and virtual audio and video recording sessions.
These duties include maintenance of AV equipment in conference rooms to support in-house meetings; setup and operation of lighting and camera equipment for video shoots; editing and managing post-production to deliver finished video and audio content for the web and live events; technical direction of live events in the Auditorium and event spaces including supervision of freelance technicians; and operation of all video, audio, and lighting equipment as necessary to support live events. The AV technician must be able to work unsupervised, and a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
**Specific Responsibilities:**
+ Set up, troubleshoot, and operate audiovisual equipment for meetings and special events.
+ Demonstrate ability to handle conflict, resolve problems and manage well in a dynamic, fast paced, result-driven environment.
+ Video and audio editing and post-production with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition and Pro Tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES
**What You'll Do**
