That way you can deliver maximum value to both the dispensary and society.Roles and responsibilities Review and execute physician's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality Organize the dispensary in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice Provide assistance and other medical services such as immunizations, blood pressure measurements, medication therapy management (MTM), etc. Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding medication Manages all medication assistance programs Supervises, directs, and coordinates all dispensary staff, including pharmacists and dispensary technicians Assists with marketing activities to develop dispensary business Performs annual and as needed performance reviews of dispensary staff Partakes in management, and departmental meetings as scheduled Submits monthly management reports to CFO and CEO as instructed Works to meet annual budget for dispensary operations Guides dispensary toward achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual projections based on financial and management objectives Follows established channels of authority and communication throughout the organization Approves dispensary staff schedule Performs special tasks or projects as requested Ensures dispensary staff adheres to all dispensary policies and procedures Involved in recruitment and hiring of potential dispensary staff Responsible for training dispensary personnel on day-to-day operations Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures Any other duties related to the pharmacist and management role as required Qualification and Education Requirements Possess the necessary supervisory/management skills and/or experience to supervise the dispensary Team player Problem solver Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc. Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and Dispensary information systems Good organizing and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customers, clients, and employees Integrity and compassion Dependable in attendance and job performance Preferred Skills/ Experience/ License/ Certification Minimum of two years experience as a pharmacist Degree in pharmacy (Pharm.
