What You'll Do:
* Performs Licensed Massage Therapy assessments, diagnostic test, skilled procedures, and ongoing evaluation for clients who are receiving services under a medically approved Plan of Care.
* Develops a massage therapy care plan to provide direction to other health team members involved in the plan of care. Reviews and updates per Agency policy and client need.
* Documents all findings, plans, interventions, and outcomes and submits documentation to the hospice office within a timely manner.
* Communicates plans and changes to the physician and to the client's Clinical Team Lead and other caregivers through the plan of care, progress notes and participation in care conferences.
* Communicates changes in schedule and physician orders to the office on the day the changes are made.
* Demonstrates exceptional service to patients, families, referral sources, co-workers, and other customers. Assists team members as needed to ensure that this level of service is consistently provided.
Qualifications:
* Graduate of a Licensed Massage Therapy Program.
* Has a current license/registration as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
* Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care field.
* Hospice experience preferred.
* Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Per visit compensation refers to a lump sum payment for all activities in connection with a visit to a patient. It is compensation not only for the time involved in doing patient care but for preparation time, travel, lab drops, picking up supplies, charting, and communication with the patient's family, physician, and other health care providers.
HEALTH QUALIFICATIONS:
Health Requirements: Must be able to meet all physical position requirements. Evidence required of a current negative tuberculin skin test or x-ray or receive TB testing at the date of orientation. Thereafter an annual tuberculin skin test is required, unless the employee has documentation of a previous TB test. Employee must be free of physical/medical conditions, which would limit or restrict their ability to perform the essential functions. Employees in this position may be at risk for exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
