We are currently looking for a Material Handler at U.S. Lumber to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will need a strong power equipment background. Operate electric lifts, cherry picker etc. Experience in supplying production lines.
Second Shift Opportunity! Start time 4pm.
Responsibilities:
* Safely operates forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting materials
* Operate power equipment, electric lifts, cherry picker etc.
* Ensure the product and or materials meet quality expectations
* Notify supervisor of improvement opportunities
* Support area needs to remove empty pallets, trash and recycle type materials
* Clean all parts and pieces using sandpaper, acetone on a cloth rag, or using air hose to blow off dust in tough to reach areas to ensure parts and pieces are ready to be painted
* Must learn how to use a chainsaw and Holtec industrial saw
* Band, wrap and tape product as needed
* Must be able to read a tape measure
* Load trucks with finished door products per direction of Production Manager
* Responsible for adhering to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines
* Perform other duties as assigned

Safely receive, store, and move materials throughout the distribution center

**Physical Demands**

Part-Time The Materials Handler supports daily retail operations across all locations. This role ensures accurate inventory management, efficient material handling, and timely movement of goods to support production, fulfillment, and overall business operations. Expected Hours:

Essential Duties:
Inventory Management
* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
* Identify any missing, lost, or damaged products and immediately notify the supervisor.
* Stock, organize, and replenish inventory in both warehouse and stockroom locations.
* Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
