About the Role
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurate receiving, storing and shipping of company products while ensuring operating standards of safety, sanitation, quality and productivity. Must be able to work in all warehouse areas as job rotation is required.
Responsibilities
Order picking: Manages pick ticket orders; pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements; ensure orders are accurate; operate inventory management scanners, stage items electronically and physically for delivery.
Packaging: Support Packaging Lead as needed. Package goods for shipment; confirm order accuracy, package, and label in accordance with DOT requirements.
Shipping: Support Shipping Lead as needed. Prepare goods for shipment, including shrink wrapping pallets and loading delivery vehicles.
Inventory management: Support Receiving Lead as needed. Receive raw materials and other goods physically and electronically, stock replenishment.
Safe & Efficient Performance: Meet warehouse safety and performance goals, maintain a high level of health and safety standards, operate handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Performs other general warehouse duties as needed, including maintaining a clean environment and workspace.
Qualifications
High School education or GED preferred.
OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus.
Required Skills
Knowledge and proven safe working skills.
1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
Experience working with warehouse technology preferred, including RF scanners.
Attention to detail.
Ability to safely lift heavy objects (up to 75LBs) and climb 16' rolling safety ladders.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom (or related work.) experience
Basic product knowledge preferred but not required
Effective time management skill to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to be mobile in the stockroom or on sales floor for extended periods of time
Proven ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 100 lbs., utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business. Casual associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday). Associates must be available for annual inventory and entire holiday season (November and December)
*Example: Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday). If preferred, an associate can also choose to have all three shifts of availability on the weekend (Friday to Sunday) and none during the week (Monday to Thursday)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
Ability to operate POS system
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
