Full-time Description Shipping Specialist Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Shipping Specialist is responsible for executing all outgoing shipments to ensure that customer orders are processed accurately, safely, and on time. This role supports domestic and dangerous goods (DG) shipments while maintaining compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Duties Shipping & Order Fulfillment Prepare, package, and ship customer orders with a high degree of accuracy. Process shipments using carrier systems such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight providers. Verify part numbers, quantities, and product condition prior to shipment. Ensure packaging meets product, carrier, and regulatory requirements. Dangerous Goods (DG / HazMat) Assist with dangerous goods shipments in compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations. Handle shipments containing lithium batteries in accordance with regulatory standards. Complete DG documentation, labeling, and declarations accurately. Maintain DG shipping records and support compliance efforts. Prepare customs documentation, including commercial invoices, declarations, and certificates of origin. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international carriers. Ensure all international shipments meet regulatory and documentation requirements. Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate shipping logs, tracking information, and shipment records. Communicate with internal teams (Production, Customer Service, Sales) regarding order status. Monitor and restock shipping supplies as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order flow. Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff. Help patients with mobility, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids. Assist with feeding patients who require help, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including tidying up rooms and changing linens. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. Assist nurses with basic medical procedures and support with medical equipment. Requirements/Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from an accredited program. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach. Ability to empathize with patients and provide emotional support. Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
